OGDEN -- Weber State University will be full of "pomp and circumstance" Thursday and Friday as about 2,100 spring graduates receive diplomas.

"It's my favorite time of the year to celebrate the achievements of our students, both academically and personally," said WSU President Ann Millner.

Other honorary degree recipients are Robert DeBoer, Jean Howe Andra Miller and Jack Parson Jr.

The student graduate speaker is Jonathan Hart, 24, of Ogden, a business administration major.

Commencement will be rebroadcast at 2:30 p.m., Saturday on KUED Channel 7.

"Putting Students Through College," a short ceremony in which graduates honor parents, spouses and friends who supported them, will precede commencement at 3:30 p.m., Thursday in the Shepherd Union Ballroom.

Graduation ceremonies continue on Friday, as Weber State's business school and academic colleges have personal convocations.
