by The Enterprise The National Asphalt Pavement Association has presented Staker and Parson Companies, Ogden, with its 2004 NAPA Ecological Award for a Hot Mix Asphalt Facility, sponsored by Roads and Bridges magazine. Staker and Parson Companies won the award for its hot mix asphalt facility at corporate headquarters in Ogden. Originally built in 1985, the plant was replaced in 2000 with a new facility that produces an average of 2000 tons of hot mix asphalt a day.
