Ogden, UT -- December 1,2003 -- Constructech Magazine recently awarded Staker and Parson Companies the Gold Vision Award. The Constructech Vision Awards honor companies that apply modern technologies to their everyday business. Staker and Parson Companies was one of the select few who merited the Gold award.

Staker and Parson Companies was recognized for its implementation of ThinkShare, a wireless project management system, into its daily business. The system allows for employees in the field to utilize handheld PCs to gather field data which is then synchronized with the companies' accounting system, providing real-time, daily project costing, and performance analysis.

Companies involved in residential construction, commercial and heavy construction, subcontractors, architectural and engineering firms, corporate owners, facility management companies, government agencies, and land developers were nominated.

"The winners of this year's awards are a testament to the talent it takes to be successful in the construction industry. These leading-edge companies have made significant investments in the latest technology tools available and the benefits they have received are visible," says Peggy Smedley, editorial director and publisher of Constructech. "We congratulate these industry leaders who have risen above the rest by achieving their goals and have been successful using technology."
