Local company gets tech award

OGDEN -- Constructech Magazine recently awarded Staker and Parson Companies the Gold Vision Award for applying modern technology to everyday business.

The award is for Staker and Parson's implementation of ThinkShare, a wireless project management system. ThinkShare allows employees in the field to use handheld computers to gather field data, providing real-time project costing and performance analysis.

Staker & Parson Companies was formed in 2001 when Staker Paving and Construction Company and Jack B. Parson Companies became partners.
