Staker & Parson Companies and Jack B. Parson Companies Lauded As Utah's BesSalt Lake City, Utah -- 22 June 2004 --Staker & Parson Companies received the 2004 Best of State Medal for Manufacturing-Mineral Mining/Stone Quarrying and Jack B Parson Companies received the 2004 Best of State Medal for Manufacturing--Stone, Clay, Glass and Concrete Products. The awards were presented on June 19, 2004, at the Salt Palace Exhibition Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Awards were given in 283 subcategory winners followed by the ABC4 televised awarding of eleven BOSS (Best of State Statue) trophies to the main category winners. The eleven main-category winners of the BOSS were selected from among all of the subcategory winners. The Best of State awards recognize outstanding businesses in Utah who have enhanced the quality of life and enriched the culture, economy, and reputation of Utah through exceptional services, products, and accomplishments. |
