The Enterprise - Staker and Parson Cos. win 2004 NAPA Ecological Award

Ogden-based Staker and Parson Cos. Has won the 2004 NAPA Ecological Award for its hot mix asphalt facility in Ogden, presented by the National Asphalt Pavement Association. The Ogden facility, which was replaced in 2000, produces approximately 2,000 tons of hot mix asphalt per day. The award is
sponsored by Roads and Bridges magazine. In addition, the Jack B. Parson Cos., a division of Staker and Parson Cos. won two national Environmental Excellence Awards from the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association for its West Haven, Utah and Salt Lake City ready mixed concrete plants. The awards were based on the company¹s outstanding contributions to protecting the
environment and maintaining sound management practice in their operations.
